Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of multiple company facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in facility management within logistics or industrial environments, with a focus on coordination, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee selected company facilities and manage Facility Management (FM) activities across assigned locations
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation of buildings and technical equipment
  • Supervise external service providers (technical maintenance, cleaning, etc.) and support internal technical processes
  • Execute technical improvements to enhance ergonomics, workplace safety, and operational efficiency
  • Initiate and implement solutions to improve facility performance, employee safety, and environmental sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Monitor maintenance schedules, repairs, and refurbishment works
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards for assigned tasks and projects
  • Coordinate activities across multiple sites and support operational continuity

Qualifications

  • Technical education (degree preferred in engineering or a related field)
  • Proven experience in a technical role within logistics, industrial, or similar environments
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, technical systems, inspections, repairs, and renovations
  • Experience in coordinating external contractors and managing tasks within defined budgets and timelines
  • Good understanding of safety and compliance requirements in industrial environments
  • Communicative level of English (minimum B1)
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Willingness to travel between company locations
