GSE Engineer/ Mechanical maintenance Engineer Required to work for a leading global provider of GSE / Equipment Maintenance at UK Airports offering the best training and development programs within the GSE industry. WE are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the inspection, servicing, overhaul, and repair of aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) and associated tooling. (Ideally with Hydraulics experience) You will service and maintain all Ground Service Equipment both Landside and Airside. ensuring all business units are continually supported with safe and reliable GSE that meets all local and CAA regulations.
This role is split between the workshop facility and customer sites across the UK. You will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair activities, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational within demanding aviation environments.
Job Responsibilities
Perform and show competence in preventive maintenance as per established schedules on all GSERespond to out of hours maintenance requestsProvide trouble-shooting and diagnostic assessment of faults as requiredModify and overhaul power plant, drive-train, brake, electric and hydraulic systemsRemove or make safe unserviceable Equipment and ensure equipment is not returned to service until any faults have been properly diagnosed and repairedOwn and demonstrate proper use of tools, diagnostic equipmentQualifications and Competencies
