We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join a busy engineering team delivering industrial automation and conveyor solutions. This role is a mix of workshop preparation and on-site installation, ideal for hands-on engineers who understand control panels inside out and enjoy working on real industrial systems.

This is a hands-on role offering a mix of office-based engineering and on-site commissioning, delivering control solutions for industrial and FMCG environments. This role requires regular time in the office, alongside site visits for commissioning and support.

Create new design drawing on E- plan, AutoCadDesign : Develop schematic diagrams, Panel Layouts, 3D models and wiring diagrams for electrical control systems.Component selection: Specify components including PLC, HMIs, Sensors tech.Documentation: Generate bills of materials and technical documentation.Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and electrical codes.Update electrical drawings and PowerPoint and other documentationsIn charge of purchasing all equipment related to all projectsMaintain daily track of missing ordersWeekly follow up with various suppliersMaintain track of inventoryAbility to manage many different jobs at any one time using both yours and Directors judgement to prioritise these jobsManage Company resources through effective and appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, phones, and energyAbility to travel 20% of the time (domestic and foreign) to various client sites

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required; Bachelor of Applied Sciences preferred.Reached A Level of math, physics and science3 years Apprenticeship ONC, HNC is a plus, work in the industry, different background of Engineering

Are you an experienced Panel Builder who can also deliver electrical design? This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer to join a dynamic organisation where your skills will make a real impact.

We are seeking a Panel Designer & Builder with 5-15 years of experience (more experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply) who can manage the full lifecycle-from designing large-scale electrical panels to building and testing them on site.

What You'll Be Doing

Panel Building (70%)

Build and test large control panels (up to 2m high) in-houseConnect electrical equipment, test cables, and update drawings/documentationOrganise transport of equipment and panels to/from sitesMaintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop

Electrical Design (30%)

Create and update electrical drawings (EPLAN experience preferred)Support documentation and design improvements

Additional Responsibilities (10%)

Purchase and track equipment for projectsLiaise with suppliers and manage missing ordersTravel occasionally (approx. 20%, UK and abroad) for installations and testingOpportunity to do overtime

About You
