Maintenance Engineer - Days (Sittingbourne, Kent)
Salary: £45000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm (37.5 hours per week)
Sector: High-Speed Packaging Manufacturing
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer based near Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent day role with excellent pay, great benefits, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Maintenance Engineer Duties
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on production machinery
Attending breakdowns in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair
Using initiative to identify and solve engineering problems
Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Desired Skills & Experience
Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG / high-speed packaging
Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical skills maintaining production machinery
Ability to work independently on nights and as part of a small, close-knit team
