This position is well-suited to a driven and highly organised project leader who is looking to take ownership of complex greenfield construction and automation projects from concept through commissioning. This position is based within the Project Delivery department and reports directly to Senior Leadership / Operations Management. You will oversee the full lifecycle delivery of a new logistics site opening project, coordinating all stakeholders to ensure successful project execution on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
● Lead and oversee all high-level project deliverables across construction and automation activities
● Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and engineering coordination
● Act as the key link between headquarters teams, contractors, suppliers, and local project teams
● Organise and lead steering committees, project meetings, and stakeholder communications
● Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, permitting, and quality standards
● Centralise and maintain all project documentation including permits, drawings, reports, and meeting records
● Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior leadership, clients, and investors
Requirements:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
● Approximately 10 years experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director within complex construction, automation, or logistics environments
● Strong background delivering technically complex, multi-disciplinary greenfield projects
● Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, and stakeholder management
● Knowledge of construction regulations, permitting, HSE, and environmental standards
● Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are advantageous
● Willingness to travel regularly and work on-site as required
