About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a utilities expansion program at their manufacturing site. The projects are currently at the feasibility and design stage, focusing primarily on refrigeration and wastewater systems. The ideal Project Manager will have the capability to manage the projects through the full life cycle, from design and planning to commissioning and closeout, while ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through to commissioning and handover.Oversee the refrigeration and wastewater expansion projects, ensuring technical, budgetary, and timeline objectives are met.Ensure compliance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations, coordinating with designers, contractors, and stakeholders to manage health and safety risks.Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports.Track project costs and ensure efficient allocation of resources.Required Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing utilities/engineering projects in a manufacturing, or industrial environment.Ideally some experience with refrigeration systems and wastewater utilities projects.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.Desirable Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.Engineering background in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering

Our Client:
A global tier 1 automation and intralogistics leader is seeking an assertive, commercially astute and operationally strong Project Manager to lead major warehouse automation programs across VIC and ANZ.
With a strong pipeline of enterprise retail and e-commerce investments - including a $35M warehouse automation deployment in Melbourne - the business continues to scale its' Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR), AGV and integrated distribution centre capabilities across the region.
The Opportunity:
You will own end-to-end delivery of large-scale warehouse automation programs - across AMRs, AGVs, Goods-to-Person systems, conveyors, racking and full systems integration.
Operating primarily onsite (75-85%), you will lead complex brownfield deployments within live DC environments, coordinating internal streams, external vendors and executive stakeholders.
This is a true senior delivery leadership role - acting as the primary client-facing authority across operational, technical and commercial workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end AMR and warehouse automation project delivery - scoping, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
* Own accountability for all project deliverables across AMR systems, software integration, IT & network requirements, conveyor and racking implementations.
* Operate as part of a complex program delivery model alongside software PM streams, automation PM streams and vendor management functions.
* Collaborate with clients and vendors to gather requirements, develop project plans and ensure successful solution delivery.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Vendors) to ensure seamless execution within live DC environments.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, governance documentation and executive reporting.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and managing escalations.
* Proactively identify and manage risks, lead regular project meetings and ensure compliance with governance and safety frameworks.
* Step confidently into brownfield environments, managing change control and recovery where required.
About You:
You are a strong, assertive and pragmatic delivery leader who thrives in complexity.
You will bring structure to fast-paced environments and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across operational, technical and commercial workstreams.
You communicate confidently at all levels - from site supervisors through to executive steering committees - and you take pride in delivering high-impact automation programs that transform distribution centre performance.
You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in project and/or vendor management within supply chain or automation environments.
* Demonstrated experience delivering automation, robotics, conveyor and racking system implementations.
* Proven brownfield site delivery experience (greenfield exposure also valued).
* Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
