Maintenance Technician

Salary: €4000-4500 gross per month + 13-15% shift allowance

Location: De Lier, Rotterdam area (Netherlands)

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the completion of planned, preventive, and unplanned maintenance on a highly advanced automated material handling system in a distribution center environment. The ideal Maintenance Technician is focused on maximizing system up-time and performance through safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

* Carrying out preventive maintenance and repair work on a corrugator machine and peripheral assets in 3-shift operation.
* Weekend work is recurring at regular intervals
* Repair and replacement of defective components
* Implementation of measures to increase our customers productivity
* Structured, independent working methods and work organization as well as ensuring our quality standards
* Ensuring the technical availability of the production facility

Requirements:

* Training background in electronics or mechanics, ideally in mechanical engineering.
* You are familiar with industrial manufacturing facilities
* Knowledge of maintenance, service, installation and commissioning is an advantage
* You have organizational and communication skills
* Teamwork and cooperation skills in dealing with our customer and employees
* You have good communication skills, are accurate and customer-oriented
* Independent work attitude and methodical thinking
* Flexibility and a high degree of initiative
* You are good in setting priorities, thinking ahead and being solution-oriented
* You are stress-resistant, ensures overview and structure in the work
* You have a driver's license and your own transportation

3 shifts changing every week

The employer specializes in Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and is a leader in advanced robotics technology while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment. They have an exciting opportunity for a Robotics Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is well-suited to a proactive, hands-on person looking to develop both mechanical and electrical expertise while advancing their career in industrial automation.

This position is based in the Maintenance department and reports to the Maintenance Manager. You will maintain automated warehouse systems, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor performance, and assist in new installations.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain automated systems in client warehouses
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, finding faults
* Monitor system performance and assist in new installations
* Respond to emergencies promptly
* Work varying shifts including weekends

Requirements:
* Previous maintenance experience
* Skills in mechanical and electrical operations
* Basic understanding of software (PLC)
* Comfortable with hands-on fieldwork
* Good communication skills
* Fluent in English
