Key Responsibilities:
Assemble products from engineering drawings and work instructionsRepair and rework mechanical assembliesInterpret electrical schematics and perform fault findingEnsure build quality through documentation and peer checksMeet production throughput targetsSupport prototype builds and project work with Manufacturing EngineeringPromote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiativesAdhere to safe working practices and company valuesSkills & Experience:
Proven experience assembling complex electro-mechanical productsStrong mechanical and workshop skillsAbility to work independently and follow proceduresBasic testing and problem-solving capabilitiesUnderstanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and safety standardsGood communication and team collaboration skillsGCSEs in Maths and EnglishHours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00-15:30.

Mechanical Fitter Role
A global manufacturing business located in Salfords, Redhill specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of a range of static tension and/or compression testing machines, including specialist grips, fixtures and applications are seeking a Mechanical Fitter.
Salary: £28-£30k based on experience
Postcode: RH1 5DZ (Redhill)
Working hours: Mon - Thurs 8.00 - 16.30, Fri - 8.00 - 16:00
As a Mechanical Fitter you will:
We are looking for:
