Key Responsibilities:

Moving of stockReporting to warehouse managerDocument control - Update and maintain all inbound and outbound recordsParticipate in cycle counts and manage stock queriesIdentify stock that is in the wrong location and escalate as required ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operationPicking and wrapping

Key Skills/Experience:

Hours of Work (40 hours pw)

What You'll Do:

Unpack and process deliveries, ensuring all products are correctly logged in the system with accurate labels and expiry dates.Quality check stock and take ownership of labelling.Pick, pack, and process customer orders and returns.Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and running efficiently.Work with colleagues to streamline operations and improve processes.Handle dangerous goods safely (experience is a plus).

What We're Looking For:

Prior warehouse experience, ideally with goods-in, exports, or dangerous goods.Sharp attention to detail, especially for batch control and expiry dates.Basic computer skills (training provided).Ability to lift heavy items and work to deadlines.A reliable, organised team player who can also work independently.ERP or barcoding experience and forklift license are a bonus (training available).

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative, ideally with experience working in a role dealing with Goods-In duties and responsibilites? We are working with a valued client as they embark on an exciting period of growth to help recruit for a position in their expanding Warehouse.

Our client is keen to find someone who can take on responsibility for all of their Goods-In duties, you will be required to unpack all incoming product deliveries making sure they are correctly processed on our clients database with correct labels and product information recorded. In turn this will ensure the swift day-to-day running of the Warehouse operations and mean the team dealing with Goods-Out are able to pick outgoing orders with ease.

You will ideally have strong prior experience working in a Warehouse environment, and also be able to demonstrate longevity in previous employment. A strong attention to detail is a most, you should be someone who is switched on at all times and able to keep a keen eye on product information and expiry dates. Prior experience dealing with Dangerous Goods is advantageous.

Our client is offering an attractive salary of £26k to £30k (with more potentially available for the right candidate), along with a bonus (based on company performance), modern working offices, quarterly team events and an early finish on a Friday in order to kick-start your weekend!

Duties include:

Ensuring all incoming goods have been processed on CRM system with correct product information and expiry dates logged.Taking ownership for ensuring labels are attached to all incoming goods.Picking/Packing orders.Quality checking stock, ensuring they are of the highest quality condition.Processing Customer Returns.Putting away deliveries of stock on time and in order.Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.General Administrative duties may be required.Communicate clearly with all other departments and colleagues.Experience dealing with dangerous goods would be advantageous.Developing processes to streamline and improve operations

Candidate requirements:

Some basic computer skills are needed, but full training will be given.Excellent attention to detail, ensuring special attention paid to batch control and date of expiry requirements.Previous experience working in a warehouse, dealing with exports and dangerous goods shipping.Experience with ERP or barcoding systems would be desirable.The ability to lift heavy items is essential to the role.A reliable individual with good time management skills, able to work to tight deadlines.Well organised with a great attention to detail.Strong team player, able to work efficiently as part of a team. Also capable of working independently.License to operate a forklift would be desirable, however client is willing to train successful candidate up on that.

Role of the Warehouse Operative

- you will have proven experience of working in a busy warehouse

- you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing deliveries are inspected and monitored for quality control, correct numbers etc

- you will have good attention to detail and inspection skills to ensure deliveries, stock etc all stowed properly and correctly
